A print block is the engraved plate used for hot foil stamping your logo; once created for your design, you can reuse it for future orders. You only need one per logo.

Did you know?
Our heritage and established manufacturing methods have defined the jewellery packaging industry.
In 1957, Mr Feiner first conceived the idea of a mass produced machine-made pad. Jewellery pads were up to then made by hand, mainly in velveteen, and orders had to be given weeks and sometimes months in advance.
In 1962, A "Stockinette fabric',' was chosen to take the place of the conventional velveteen. Tools and machines were constructed for the new process of making "Stockinette pads" which at that time were known as "Finer's" pads.
Another innovation was to give code numbers to all sizes of pads and as the first tool was for a 2" x 2" pad, it was called P1.

Our Foiling Process
At Finer Packaging, our foiling process begins with the design being engraved or etched onto a brass plate, known as a foiling die.
We use only brass dies because they’re incredibly strong and can easily withstand thousands of print runs. Each die is created on precision CNC machines, and we sometimes use different drill bits to add finer detail.
Once the engraving is complete, the die is acid-etched to deepen the design.
Finally, under controlled heat and pressure, we press the die onto our products, leaving a sharp, foil finish every time.
